Tetrenga Overview
Tetrenga is a creative physics-based puzzle game where players stack unusual geometric blocks on a weighing scale to build the tallest and heaviest tower possible. Inspired by classic block-stacking games but powered by unpredictable physics, every round becomes a test of balance, patience, and strategy.
Players can freely rotate and position pieces to create unstable-looking structures that somehow remain standing. Every successful placement increases the tower’s total weight, while a single mistake can send the entire structure crashing down.
Created during the GMTK Game Jam using the Godot engine, Tetrenga delivers an addictive experience with minimalist visuals, smooth controls, and satisfying physics interactions.
Build the Ultimate Tower
Your goal in Tetrenga is simple: stack as many blocks as possible without letting them fall off the scale. The heavier and taller your structure becomes, the higher your score.
Each block features a different shape and weight distribution, forcing players to carefully plan every move. Poor positioning can destabilize the entire tower, so precision is essential. You can rotate pieces slowly for accurate placement or spin them quickly to fit into narrow gaps.
As the tower grows, the challenge becomes increasingly intense. Small mistakes can lead to massive collapses, and balancing awkward shapes requires focus, timing, and quick thinking. Players must constantly adapt their strategy while battling gravity and unstable physics.
